The Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) and Shandong Management Bureau of Coal Industry warmly invite you to Qingdao, China for the International Conference on Mine Hazards Prevention and Control (ICMHPC) during 2007-10-17 and 10-19. The scheme for the ICMHPC is "prevention and control of mine hazards " which almost cover all the disciplines related to Mine Hazards. We look forward to welcoming you to the ICMHPC.
Recently the market of energy sources in China is very hot and the exploitation of mineral resources is becoming heavier. With the great economic profit to the country, many safety problems occur. Now mine accidents often happen, and especially the heavy mine disasters happen sometimes. These problems attract wide focus in society. This is a challenge, an opportunity and a responsibility for researchers, scientist and engineers in the related realms. The ICMHPC in Qingdao will offer a good opportunity to exchange, to share, and to progress for all conferees.

Conference Fees
The registration fee is US $200.00 (US $50.00 for students). The fee covers attendance to all technical sessions, coffee breaks, breakfasts on October 18, 19 &20, lunches on October 18,19&20, dinners on October 17, 19&20, a dinner festival on October 18, a copy of the proceedings, airport transfer, tour of Qingdao city(including visit of Qingdao Beer Factory), and visit of one coal mine
The accommodation fee is US $40.00 per day. And the room is a standard room where two persons can live in.
